PUEBLO – Folks in Pueblo took advantage of the great weather Saturday with an Easter egg hunt.

Organizers hid 20,000 eggs at the soccer fields at Lea Gonzalez Park with prizes for several age groups.

Parents said it meant a lot to have a safe event for kids, especially those with disabilities.

“There’s times where she doesn’t have enough energy to play with typical kids, so to have something separate for kids like her, it means the world,” said parent, Jadine Benavidez.

The egg hunt also featured bounce houses and visits from Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny.
