We start the work week with a tip of the cap to “CAPS”, “Community Advancing Public Safety” in the Pikes Peak region.
These are volunteers who provide support to our firefighters and police officers in Colorado Springs, who provide so much volunteer time, so our sworn men and women can concentrate on their jobs.
Awards were presented to these invaluable volunteers at the Double Tree Hotel, including the most outstanding volunteer. The event was sponsored by several local businesses.
