COLORADO SPRINGS – Many of you have had strong reactions to U.S. News and World Report’s article that ranked Colorado Springs as the third best place to live in the United States.

That report specifically complimented the city on its natural beauty and low unemployment rate among other topics. Many Facebook users complained the economy isn’t working as well for them as the rankings said. Facebook users complained about the cost of living, which has increased in recent years.

In a little more than two hours, our Facebook post about the rankings had more than 200 comments beneath it, with an overwhelming majority of those negative in tone.

Others complained about crime and the record number of traffic deaths in the city in 2018, while many others said the city is getting too crowded.
