35th Annual Space Symposium happening this week in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS – The Broadmoor will host hundreds of representatives across the aerospace industry at the 35th annual Space Symposium.

The main portion of the event runs from Monday through Thursday and will feature speeches from Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan, Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson and NASA Administrator James Bridenstein among other government and military figures.

Shanahan, Ross, Wilson and Bridenstein will all speak to attendees Tuesday morning.

Dozens of other business leaders, astronauts and scientists will also speak about industry trends, space exploration in different forums throughout the week.

The event also features its exhibit hall, which allows companies to showcase their projects and network with other professionals. News5’s Jon McMichael will attend the symposium this week and will feature stories from the exhibit floor.
