Garth fans buy 79,000 tickets in 2 hours for Denver show

DENVER – Garth Brooks will fill Broncos Stadium at Mile High this summer with plenty of friends as ticket sales for his June 8th concert just set a record with 79,000 tickets sold in just two hours.

There are a few tickets left, but you better hurry! The cost per ticket is $94.95 with tax and fees included.

The prior record for ticket sales was set in 2011 by U2 with 77,000 tickets sold.

The show is part of the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, which is coming to Gainesville, Fla., Minneapolis and Pittsburgh along with the Mile High City.

Brooks is one of the best-selling artists of all time and one of the most successful country artists ever. He’s also been inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame, Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame.
