BRECKENRIDGE – Firefighters suspect falling snow and ice broke a natural gas line that led to an explosion at a home in Colorado’s mountains.
The explosion and resulting fire destroyed the home in Breckenridge early Wednesday but the two people sleeping inside survived.
One of the injured men said he woke up while he was flying in the air after the blast.
The home is a complete loss.
