Armed robbery at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant leaves one with minor injuries

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police said at least two armed suspects robbed the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on N. Academy Boulevard late Monday night.

Police said witnesses told them at least two suspects came into the restaurant with guns and demanded money from the register around 10:19 p.m. During the robbery, a person inside the restaurant was hit in the head, suffering minor injuries.

Police tell News5 witness accounts vary on the exact number of suspects, but there were between two to four inside the business. No other suspect information was available. Police told us they are working to review surveillance video to find information about a suspect vehicle.

The suspects got away before police arrived.
