EL PASO COUNTY – Hours after a gas leak forced residents to evacuate their homes Monday evening, officials cleared the area just before 10 p.m. and people were able to return home safely.
A gas leak from an underground propane tank in eastern El Paso County was what forced residents to evacuate their homes.
The leak was in the 900 block of Corral Valley Rd., which is near Ellicot.
The evacuation order was for residents within a half-mile radius of the road.
