File- March 13 blizzard

EL PASO COUNTY – The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified two people who were found dead in their home nearly two weeks after the March 13 blizzard.

Authorities said 55-year-old James Tomsik and 50-year-old Lana Senna died. Three dogs inside the home were also found dead.

Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 35800 block of Wagner Lane on March 25 after an on-the-road truck driver told authorities he hadn’t heard from his wife in two weeks. The truck driver said he lived at the address, which is located southeast of Calhan,  with his wife and a male friend.

Authorities said the man said his wife called during the night of the blizzard and told him they didn’t have power. He told deputies he couldn’t reach her after that call.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said their deaths are not considered suspicious, but no cause of death has been determined yet.
