COLORADO SPRINGS – Spring Breakers and their parents are taking advantage of programs offered by the Pikes Peak Library District.
It’s part of the district’s free series of events and programs to help kids learn in a relaxed environment.
Thursday kids learned about fire safety from a Colorado Springs firefighter at the Cheyenne Mountain branch.
“We have learning opportunities, we have magicians,” said Barbara Huff from PPLD. “We have different presenters come to help enrich the children’s lives during school time off.”
Spring Break is almost over, but events at the library are not. There will be eight more weeks of events in June and July this summer.
