PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado State Patrol released the name of the man killed in a fatal crash Monday afternoon east of Boone.
Troopers said Brett Martin died in the crash when his 2000 Hyundai Accent crossed over into the westbound lanes and hit a motorhome head-on.
Troopers said Martin was not wearing a seat belt and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the motorhome suffered minor injuries and were taken to Parkview Medical Center.
Investigators said neither excessive speed or impairment were contributing factors in the crash.
Highway 50 reopened around 6:30 p.m.
