PUEBLO – Just before 4 a.m. Saturday officers were called to the area of Routt and Nevada for a one-vehicle crash.

Officers found a car in an alley on the north side of Nevada, it appeared the driver of an SUV drove through a privacy fence, hit a parked car behind it, and then backed into a chain link fence.

The male driver was trying to dislodge the SUV when officers arrived. They managed to get the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, out of his car. Officers started a DUI investigation.

Fortunately, no one was hurt during the crash, but the cars and fences suffered substantial damage.

Police originally thought the male driver was a juvenile. But, it turned out the driver is 18-years-old which means instead of getting a ticket or two and going home with mom and dad, he will be lodged at the Pueblo Police Department.

Police are still investigating this crash. No other information has been released at this time.
