PUEBLO WEST – During last week’s bomb cyclone the Pueblo West Metro District’s roof blew off, leading to the building being condemned.

Now San Isabel Electric, the Pueblo West Co-Op, opened its doors, allowing the district to operate a temporary Administration building.

A Pueblo West employee said Friday it’s just a matter of being good neighbors. “The general manager here at San Isabel, he spoke to all of our employees this morning and said that it’s nice to have neighbors, and you know this is what we are here for.”

People in Pueblo West can take care of most district services there. There’s no word yet on if the district will rebuild its old building or build a new one.
