Leave the skis at home, tube down Monarch Mountain this spring

MONARCH SKI AREA – Not everyone has to go down the mountain on skis or a snowboard.

Monarch Ski Area debuted it’s tubing hill this winter. The park is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m through March 31. Then April 1 through April 21 the hill will only be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Riders must be at least 36″ tall and able to ride alone in a tube. Riders under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult that is also riding in a separate tube.

It’s $24 for an hour of tubing, and additional time can be purchased.

Walk-in tickets are available at the window, or you can get an advanced ticket online or over the phone by calling 719-530-5196.
