COLORADO SPRINGS – To celebrate the “Week of Joy,” happening now through Friday, local Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins employees are volunteering at Care and Share Food Bank for southern Colorado Tuesday.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation, supported by the franchises, is on a mission to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids who are battling hunger or illness.

Volunteers will sort, organize, and pack for various meal programs at the food bank and not just in Colorado Springs.

Across the country, Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbin crew members will be volunteering at more than 80 Feeding America member food banks during the “Week of Joy.”

Since its launch in 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $18 million to hundreds of national and local charities across the country.
