COLORADO SPRINGS – All lanes of Platte Avenue and Union are back open following a serious crash that shut down the intersection for hours.
Police said one person was trapped after a collision between a concrete pumper truck and a Toyota Camry. Authorities told News5 the driver of the car was conscious when they were taken to the hospital, but the extent of that person’s injuries is not known at this time.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. and the road reopened after 10 a.m.
It’s not clear at this time if any driver will face charges following the incident.
