FREMONT COUNTY – On Tuesday, Fremont County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 15th and Washington in Canon City for a report of a horse that was stuck in the mud and unable to move.
With help from the Canon City Area Fire Protection District, South Street Auto, and several citizens, the horse was rescued from the mud.
The Sheriff’s Office said the horse, named Diamond, suffered no injuries.
