COLORADO SPRINGS – Fountain Valley School students got the chance to have some face time with other kids around the world.

They have a communication portal on campus that hooks them up with real time conversations.
Wednesday they spoke with kids in Iran and students say they were surprised to find out some of the things they had in common.

“They asked us about our music tastes and I thought that was pretty interesting, and we asked them back. They had some American choices which I thought were pretty funny,” sophomore Luke Paterson said.

The portal is part of the school’s Unity Day, which is full of student-led activities to promote international awareness.
