COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store early Wednesday morning in southeast Colorado Springs.
It happened a little after 1 a.m. at a store near the intersection of Astrozon and Academy Boulevard. Police said a 5’10 or 6′ tall black man wearing a black mask, beanie cap and black clothing pulled out a handgun and took money and a cigar from the store.
CSPD said officers set up a containment area after the robbery, but they couldn’t find the man. Police are asking for help to find the suspect.
