COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are asking people to avoid the area of Airport Rd and S Academy Blvd as they investigate a serious crash involving a pedestrian.
Details are limited at this time, but News5 understands the pedestrian was seriously injured when hit by a car around 2:30 p.m.
Colorado Springs Police have one lane of westbound Airport closed along with the right turn lane of Airport to southbound Academy Blvd.
