UPDATE: The standoff is over and the suspect is in custody.
PUEBLO – A wanted suspect is in a standoff with Pueblo Police Monday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m. Monday, the Pueblo Police Department PIO told News 5 that officers are in a standoff with David Trujillo at the Sangre De Cristo Apartments.
Trujillo is currently barricaded inside an apartment.
Trujillo is suspected of shooting and injuring a woman in Pueblo on Wednesday night, 1/23.
He is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
