PUEBLO – Buckshot’s in Pueblo is offering free lunch to government workers during the shutdown. The free lunch buffet is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

“We just saw it on facebook and a lot of people are having hard times with food and stuff, so we just wanted to help them out any way we could so we decided to do the buffet,” owner Jimmy Wardle said.

Wardle said you just have to show your government ID to prove you’re a federal employee.
The buffet is also free for the employee’s spouse and kids.
