COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police said one person was hurt following a shooting at an apartment complex Tuesday night.
Police said they arrived at the Advenir at the Village apartments near University Village around 8:47 p.m. Police said someone reported hearing five or six shots and that a person might have been hit.
Officers searched the area, and they couldn’t find a victim or a suspect. However, a victim showed up at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound about one hour later. That person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they interviewed witnesses on scene and recovered evidence. No one was arrested, but police said they are still investigating the incident.
