PPD hosts open house for new recruits

PUEBLO – Police in the Steel City are trying to find new recruits.

To help get people interested they held an open house on Friday. Anyone interested in the department got a tour of the police building. They also got information about the recruitment process including tests that they will have to take.

“I have always been interested in the law,” said Jennifer Hernandez, who attended the open house. “I wanted to become lawyer but I figured becoming a police officer would be much less school.”
