FORT CARSON – Fort Carson will host three homecoming ceremonies for around 600 soldiers at the William “Bill” reed Special Events Center on Monday. The soldiers are from the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.

About 200 soldiers will be welcomed at each event. The ceremonies will take place at 6:35 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11:15 p.m.

The soldiers deployed to Afghanistan in April as part of the Resolute Support mission to train, advise, and assist operations to enable Afghan National Defense and Security Forces to increase security and stability, in order to prevent terrorist safe havens.
