ROCKY FORD – A large structure fire in Rocky Ford is sending a huge plume of smoke into the sky and it’s being seen as far away as La Junta. According to the Rocky Ford fire department, the fire is at 801 Swink. The fire is burning at the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District Building.
The Colorado State Patrol closed Hwy 50 at 9th Street as a result of the fire.
It’s unknown if there are any injuries at this time and this is a developing story. We will update you as soon as we learn more details on the blaze.
