PUEBLO – Pueblo Police are searching for burglary suspects Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Rutgers Ave. and Cornell Circle.
Police said around 2 p.m., three male suspects, which all appear to be juvenile, were burglarizing a home near the aforementioned intersection.
The homeowner saw the burglary in progress on home surveillance and called police.
The suspects fled the scene when police arrived. One juvenile suspect has been taken into custody and the search continues for the other two.
According to Police, the suspects tried to steal one of the homeowner’s cars but were unsuccessful.
Police have deployed a drone over the area to try to find the two suspects still on the loose.
