COLORADO SPRINGS – For veterans and service members trying to transition back to civilian life, there is help available.

Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center is hosting a Department of Justice Hiring Event Wednesday, January 16th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The DOJ is hiring 50 correctional officers to work at the Federal Correctional Complex in Florence. Salary and benefits start at more than $43,000 a year.
