Make your state park camping reservations now

COLORADO SPRINGS – Even though there is snow on the ground, now is the time to plan that summer camping trip.

Reservations are now required for all campsites at 20 different State Parks including,

  • Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area
  • Boyd Lake
  • Cherry Creek
  • Cheyenne Mountain
  • Eleven Mile
  • Golden Gate Canyon
  • Highline Lake
  • Jackson Lake
  • John Martin Reservoir
  • Lathrop
  • Mueller
  • North Sterling
  • Peal Lake Rideway
  • St. Vrain
  • State Forest
  • Staunton
  • Steamboat Lake
  • Trinidad Lake
  • Yampa River

Campsites can be reserved six months in advance. Which means now is the time to book for the Fourth of July.

You can make a reservation online atwww.cpwshop.com or you can call 1-800-244-5613.

Starting on April 1, Lake Pueblo and Chatfield will also only allow campers with a reservation.
