TRINIDAD – A deal has been reached to buy and protect the crazy french ranch just outside of Trinidad and the deal includes Fisher’s Peak.

The trust for public land and the nature conservancy plans to buy the ranch for 25 and a half million dollars.  State agencies have planned to give the group 14-million dollars for the purchase. The rest of the money will be raised through fundraising.

Once a management plan is completely figured out, the public will have access to the nearly 30-square miles of land.
