COLORADO SPRINGS – It was a chilly start to the day for about 35 firefighters in Colorado Springs as they rushed to the scene of an apartment fire.
The fire started in a third story unit at the Casa De Cerro apartments on North Uma Street, near Circle and Galley.
Firefighter kept the flames from spreading but the tenant was displaced.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for several hours to make sure the fire didn’t flare up again.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
