COLORADO SPRINGS – A Colorado Springs couple was forced out of their home Saturday morning when the building caught fire.
The house is on E. Brookside St., near Motor City.
Everyone made it out of the home safely, but firefighters said there was a considerable amount of damage done to the house.
“At this point in time, they probably will not live here tonight,” said Capt. Tom Ruane. “With all the insulation and things like that inside the house, they’ll have to have someone come clean it before they live inside the house again.”
Firefighters said the blaze appeared to have started in the attic. Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
