COLORADO SPRINGS – All babies born during the holiday season at both UCHealth Memorial Hospital North and UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central will be heading home snuggled inside soft, holiday stockings.
UCHealth said the stockings are all hand-made by a former employee of the mom-baby unit who recently retired.
In the photos below, you can see Ellie Hazel Dykema, born Friday, Dec. 21st at Memorial North. Ellie was due after Christmas, but is now a welcome holiday surprise for her parents, Lauren Verro and Seth Dykema.
