DENVER — A Denver family had the shock of a lifetime late Tuesday after returning from their great grandmother’s wake to find a vehicle had crashed through their apartment wall and ended up inside their kitchen.
Denver fire says the family was stuck in traffic, got home later than planned and was fortunate to be out of the apartment at the time of the crash.

Denver Police officers say the driver, a 21-year-old woman, was involved in a disturbance near the apartment around 6:15 pm. Tuesday evening when she left in a rush and backed into the apartment on North High Street.
She has been cited with careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report.
There were no injuries.
