DENVER – The Regional Transportation District has removed all of the bathroom doors at it’s Union Station Stop.

The company said the move is for security reasons after they were made aware of drug activity taking place in the bathroom stalls.

So far in 2018, there have been more than a dozen overdose patients at the station.

RTD said the move is just temporary. The company will be installing new, modified doors but they are currently on back order.
