COLORADO SPRINGS — The Leadership team and board members of Colorado Springs Utilities spent time in downtown Monday near Pikes Peak and Vermijo, ringing bells to help raise funds for the Salvation Army.

All of the board members were already scheduled for a utilities board meeting in the morning, so they used that time instead to help out with the holiday tradition.

Utilities members say they are always encouraging employees and themselves to give back and serve the community, not just during the holidays, but throughout the year.
