South Nevada business robbed Saturday night

COLORADO SPRINGS – According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, a business on South Nevada Ave. was robbed Saturday night.

CSPD said just before 8:30 p.m., two women entered the business in the 1500 block of South Nevada Ave.

One of the women was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The employee complied and the women left the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

The two women were described as white or Hispanic, in their teens or early 20s, with small builds.

CSPD said officers checked the area, but the suspects were not located.

No injuries resulted from the robbery.
