COLORADO SPRINGS – A power outage to the west of the intersection of N Academy Blvd and Austin Bluffs Parkway impacted an estimated 1,000 Colorado Springs Utilities customers Tuesday afternoon.
The utility expected power to be restored by 4 p.m. following the outage first reported around 2 p.m. However, the lights were back on for most people before 2:45 p.m.
There are still an estimated 6 customers without power in the area.
Be aware the outage impacted some intersections by knocking out the traffic signals. Be sure to treat those as a four-way stop.
