CSPD investigating after suspects break into apartment and rob residents at gunpoint

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police are looking for five people suspected of breaking into an apartment and robbing the people inside at gunpoint Sunday night.

Police said it happened a little after 8 p.m. at the Village at Lionstone apartments off of N. Murray Boulevard, when four men and a woman armed with rifles and a handgun “forced” their way into an apartment and assaulted the people inside.

Police said the suspects are described as:

  • An 18-year-old white woman. She was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and faded blue jeans.
  • A 30 to 35-year-old black man. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans
  • A 20 to 25-year-old black man. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans
  • A 20 to 25-year-old black man. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt
  • A 30 to 25-year-old black man. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt
