PIKES PEAK REGION – The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is on a mission to reunite or adopt hundreds of pets before Christmas.

To help in their mission, two local business, Status Symbol Auto Body and Dent-Tec, are donating $25 for each pet that finds a home.

The Humane Society said the money raised will help support the many programs and services that are offered at the shelter.

“Which is a wonderful incentive for everyone to come look for a pet for the holidays, maybe look harder to reunite that friend,” said Community Relations Manager, Gretchen Pressley. “We just want to make sure every furry friend has that home, where they can celebrate the holidays with that family.”

The Humane Society hopes to find homes for between 700 and 1,000 pets by Christmas Eve.
