COLORADO – Colorado is receiving a grant worth more than $10-million dollars to build charging stations for electric vehicles across the state.
The move means 33 new charging sites will be built across six main travel corridors. Governor John Hickenlooper says it will give drivers of electric vehicles confidence in the reliability traveling in the state.
The grant money is from Colorado’s share of the dirty emissions settlement with Volkswagen.
