COLORADO SPRINGS – The Ink Gallery Tattoo Shop in Colorado Springs is hoping to make this a happy holiday for kids across the city.

The shop is offering discounts on tattoos in exchange for new, $20 toys.

All you need to do is bring in any new toy in the box with the receipt. The toy has to cost at least $20.

With that donation, you can receive $60 off a tattoo from $60-$90, and $80 off any tattoo of $100 or more. There is a $10 set up fee on all tattoos.

The shop said collecting toys for kids is a no-brainer.

“All my staff, we’re all dads, grandpas, some of us know what it’s like to you know, have less growing up,” said owner, Chris Valle. “Now we’re in a position where we have jobs and we can you know, we’re doing more for ourselves. It’s something that we do and we can give back and make kids happy, so why wouldn’t we.”

The Ink Gallery has locations in both the Citadel and Chapel Hills malls. You can bring toys to either location and receive the discount. All appointments must be made in person and you can schedule as many appointments as you want. You must use one toy per transaction.
