COLORADO SPRINGS – A man classified as a Sexually Violent Predator under Colorado law who has moved back to Colorado Springs is classified as homeless and known to be living in the area of Murray Blvd and Platte Ave.
Jerrell Jamil Evans was convicted of second degree sexual assault in 2001 for a crime in El Paso County. He has further convictions for escape, drug possession and menacing.
Colorado law requires law enforcement to notify the community when this level of sex offender relocates to the area.
Evans is one of the 16 Sexually Violent Predators registered with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
