COLORADO SPRINGS – Springs Police said a man fired shots inside a Popeyes restaurant during a robbery Wednesday night.
Police tell News 5 it happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Popeyes location near Pikes Peak and Academy Boulevard. The suspect, described as a white man in his 30s, was wearing a bandana over his face and wore dark clothes with a patch in his shoulder.
Police said he fired one shot into the ceiling before taking the money and running away.
