Fountain PD reports missing bike for special needs girl returned

FOUNTAIN – It took less than 24 hours for someone to turn over a special bicycle made for a special needs girl in Fountain.

The police department put out an alert for people to keep their eyes open for the three wheeled pink bicycle reported missing on November 30th from the area of Jimmy Camp and Link Road. The bike was specifically made for the girl by Mobility Bikes in Fountain.

Lisa Schneider of Fountain Police wrote on November 30th:

“When I walked in to work this morning, at the PD, I saw the most beautiful sight and it came in the color pink. It had 3 wheels and an amazing basket….It was the stolen bike I posted about yesterday!

Thank you citizens for your continued support and help when I post requests for your help. It was a terrible situation, however, this story has a happy ending!
