COLORADO SPRINGS – A man is in critical condition and a woman was detained after a shooting Tuesday morning at a homeless camp.
Police were called to an area off of the MLK Bypass and I-25 at about 10 a.m. where they found the victim with a gunshot wound in a tent.
The name of the victim and the suspect have not been released, and there is a large police presence in the area.
When first responders first came to the scene, the right lane of NB I-25 was partially blocked, but all lanes are back open.
