COLORADO SPRINGS – A Colorado Springs-based charity is urging people to donate money to buy Christmas Wreaths to be placed on every soldier buried at Fort Logan in Denver.

Ultimately, the charity would like to see a wreath on the grave of every veteran in the state. Senior Veterans, Incorporated is hoping Coloradans will donate enough money to put wreaths on the more than 160-thousand veteran graves in the state.

The wreath-laying will take place on December 15th, which is National Wreaths Across America Day. More information on donating to the effort is available by clicking here.

The charity,  Senior Veterans, Inc. is a Colorado-based non-profit that helps senior veterans and widows during their greatest need.  All services provided by the charity are free; however, they ask every family they assist to donate one $15.00 wreath for the graves of soldiers.
