Donation Day:
Donation day is here at Crested Butte ski resort, with opening day arriving Thursday!

Proceeds from donation day will benefit the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial support for the youth in Crested Butte and Gunnison communities in their pursuit of sportsmanship, passion, excellence and discipline through snow sport experiences.

Last season’s Donation Day generated more than $10,000 for the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation, which helped the CBSF award local children and athletes more than $40,000 in scholarships throughout the 2017-18 season.

Lift tickets will be available for purchase for $15 with 100% of the proceeds supporting local kids at the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation.

The resort will be providing free coffee, hot chocolate, doughnut holes and pocket bacon for Opening Ceremonies at 9 am! Plus, the first 100 guests on the Red Lady Express will receive a Crested Butte Mountain Resort branded buff!

Season Opens Tomorrow:
The ski season for Crested Butte officially opens tomorrow, Thursday 22nd.

130 acres of terrain will be available to ski, the most skiable terrain to start the season in 20 years! This will mark the earliest open on record for the Paradise Lift.

Snow is in the forecast through the holiday weekend, so conditions will only improve as Sunday draws near.

Be sure to check out www.skicb.com/events for upcoming events this season, such as Ski Santa Day on December 15th, where an attempt for the most skiing Santas will be held!
