EL PASO COUNTY – As schools across the region start a couple hours later or close entirely for the day, many still need to make it to work on Veteran’s Day.
El Paso County has 38 plows working this morning. Those drivers started treating and plowing roads around 2 a.m. The priority major roads were plowed first. Now crews are moving on to priority 2 and 3 roads.
In Black Forest and Calhan, multiple road graders are working the roads where people saw heavy snow overnight.
There are no road closures to report due to snow or slush.
