PUEBLO – The Pueblo police are looking for the driver of a white van after several shots were fired near a bar overnight.
An officer nearby heard a series of shots being fired near the Grove Tavern and when he arrived, a woman pointed him towards a ford truck. The driver of the pickup tried to leave the area and they were pulled over near “C” street and Spring. No weapon was found in the truck.
Other officers found blood and shell casings in front of the bar as a result of some type of altercation, but no victim was found. After talking to other witnesses, they learned that a white van may have been involved, but the van had already left the area in the short time that the first officer was responding.
